After a successful career at Anthem, Mr. McCurry took a position at UnitedHealth care. At UHC, Mr. McCurry held 3 roles the first being Manager of Agent Development and Education and the last being Sales Director. After 20+ years’ experience in corporate roles, Mr. McCurry made a pivotal decision to become a Medicare Consultant. What Is Medicare?
Medicare is a federal health insurance program in the United States that is primarily available to those who are 65 years of age or older, some younger persons with disabilities, if you have ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also called Lou Gehrig’s disease, and those who have end-stage renal disease.
When Can A Person Enroll In Medicare?
You can start enrolling in Medicare 3 months before the month of your 65th birthday, provided you have fulfilled the work-related qualifying conditions.
Is Medicare Free?
Medicare is divided into two parts: Part A, which pays for hospital services, is at a zero cost for individuals (or their spouses) who earned 40 credits and made Social Security contributions while they were employed. However, everyone must pay a monthly premium for Part B, which covers all medical services; even individuals with better salaries may have to pay a higher premium.
